Customs chief inaugurates smart card issuance for customs employees

The head of the Customs Authority, Abdulhakim Radman Al-Qubati, inaugurated today
The issuance of smart chip ID cards to the employees of the Customs Authority in the capital Aden and its affiliated departments is part of the government’s efforts to develop the information and electronic system of civil status and link it to all financial and administrative transactions of state institutions.
Al-Qubati reviewed the procedures for issuing the national identity card with the smart card, praising the efforts of the Civil Status Department and its mobile teams to implement the government’s directives.

The inauguration was attended by Ahmed Al-Hajj, Deputy Customs Officer, several general managers and a group of employees.
