This morning, a bilateral coordination meeting between YAC and SDBMA was held at YCA Headquarters under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdulhakim Al-Qubati and Dr. Abdulqader Al-Bakri.

The meeting discussed several issues related to facilitating the flow of goods, especially medicines, food supplements and medical supplies, overcoming the difficulties facing the work of importing and manufacturing medicine in our country, and strengthening the partnership between the two sides.

The two sides agreed to continue joint coordination at the bilateral level as well as coordinating positions within the National Committee for Trade Facilitation to enable the pharmaceutical sector to fulfill its obligations towards the country and the citizen, and to combat smuggling and adulteration in the field of medicines due to its great damage to public health and the environment.

The meeting was part of the activities carried out by the government agencies and institutions represented in the National Committee for Trade Facilitation

The meeting was attended by a number of undersecretaries and directors general in the two entities.
